Yemen has a long history with strong influences from both Arabic settlers who arrived in the region during ancient times as well as tribal peoples who lived there prior to colonization. It also has many unique customs such as its traditional music which includes instruments such as drums and flutes as well as dance styles such as dabka which are popular activities throughout much of the country each year. Furthermore, Yemen also boasts some stunning views including Socotra Island which attract tourists from all over the world each year for its natural beauty and grandeur. Yemen is a country located in the southwestern part of Asia and has two time zones. The official time zones of Yemen are known as the Arabian Peninsula Time Zone (UTC+03:00) and the Socotra Time Zone (UTC+04:00). The Arabian Peninsula Time Zone is observed in the northern and western parts of Yemen, which includes Sana’a, Ta’izz, Hodeidah, Ibb and many more. This time zone is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The Socotra Time Zone is observed in the eastern and southern parts of Yemen, which includes Aden, Mukalla, Sayun and many more. This time zone is 4 hours ahead of UTC. During Daylight Saving Time (DST), both these time zones remain unchanged at UTC+03:00 and UTC+04:00 respectively.
