According to itypeusa, Egypt is a country located in the northeast corner of Africa, along the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. It has a population of over 100 million people and is one of the most populous countries in Africa. Egypt is bordered by Israel, Sudan, Libya and Saudi Arabia and has a total area of 1,001,450 sq km. Egypt is known for its ancient history and monuments that are some of the oldest in the world. The country was once part of Ancient Egypt and home to one of the earliest civilizations on earth. The Great Pyramids at Giza are some of Egypt’s most famous sights as well as other monuments such as Luxor Temple, Valley of Kings, Karnak Temple Complex and Abu Simbel Temple. The capital city of Cairo is home to over 22 million people making it one of the largest cities in Africa. It is known for its many museums like Egyptian Museum which houses many artifacts from Ancient Egypt such as Tutankhamun’s tomb. Other popular attractions include Khan el-Khalili bazaar which offers visitors a great variety of souvenirs to take home with them from their trip to Cairo. The official language spoken in Egypt is Arabic but English is also widely used especially in tourist areas like Sharm El Sheikh or Luxor which attract millions of visitors each year from around the world. Islam is also predominant with over 90% percent Egyptians being Muslim while Coptic Christianity makes up around 10%. The climate in Egypt varies greatly depending on region but generally consists mainly hot summers with very little rainfall and mild winters where temperatures rarely drop below freezing point even at night time. Summers can be extremely hot with temperatures reaching up to 40°C (104°F). Egypt’s economy relies heavily on tourism which brings in around 13% GDP annually while agriculture makes up around 15% GDP mainly due to cotton production although there have been attempts to diversify this sector into other crops such as wheat and corn. Oil production also brings in significant income for the country due to its large oil reserves located primarily off shore near Alexandria province as well as Sinai Peninsula near Israel border region making it an important factor for economic stability within Middle East region. Egypt is located in the Eastern European Time Zone, denoted as EET (Eastern European Time). This time zone is two hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Egypt does not observe Daylight Savings Time (DST) so the clock does not change throughout the year. This means that EET remains two hours ahead of UTC throughout the year. The daylight hours vary slightly throughout the year in Egypt due to its location in a desert climate. During December and January, daylight lasts for about 11 hours per day while during June and July, this decreases to about 9 hours per day. This can affect people’s sleep patterns, as well as their productivity levels. To combat this effect, many employers in Egypt offer flexible working times so that employees can take advantage of daylight when it’s available. Additionally, many public places such as restaurants and cafes have extended opening hours to accommodate those who wish to make use of the extra light during winter months. In addition to this time zone difference between Egypt and other countries around the world, there is also a significant cultural difference between them as well. For example, Egyptians tend to be more communal and value relationships more than people from other countries who may be more independent and focused on individual achievement. This difference in attitude when it comes to work can have an impact on how businesses operate in Egypt compared to other countries around the world. Additionally, language can also be a barrier for some business interactions due to most Egyptians speaking Arabic or Coptic as their primary language while English is often used by international visitors or business partners.
