Basically any time is suitable to visit the Netherlands. However, one should prepare for stormy and changeable weather. There are only a few in summer sunny days. According to best-medical-schools, precipitation is evenly distributed over the year, with short, heavy downpours in spring.

As in much of Europe, the high season is between June and August. During this period there are numerous holidaymakers in the country, but these are the best months to spend the time in cafes or in pedestrian zones. Many Dutch people take their summer vacation during this time, especially on the last weekend in July the streets are congested. Most of the events take place in August.

The low season is between mid-March to May and from September to mid-October. Spring in the Netherlands is particularly fascinating because of the abundance of flowers: daffodils in April and tulips in May.
