Training
Education has a higher standard than in neighboring countries; 97% are literate. The training is free and compulsory between the ages of 5 and 16. Since 1963, there is a department of the University of the West Indies in the country with about 1,500 students and faculties of the humanities, law and natural sciences as well as a social science research institute.
